Is it law to change name on passport once married?

I got married this year and had a baby.. i need to get her a passport her name is different from mine. My passport is only a year or so old so dont really want to pay to get it changed. Will this cause problems when traveling to Turkey ?Is it law to change name on passport once married?
If you've legally changed your name than yes it is a must to get your name on your passport changed as well.

If you haven't legally changed your name than it doesn't matter.

As for your child's name being different, no it wont matter. Worse case scenario you have to explain that you didn't take your husband's name. done.Is it law to change name on passport once married?
Normally, you need to have some type of marker on your passport, showing that you have a child under the age of 18.

I'm pretty sure you will have to have it changed anyways for this reason. (though I'm not sure)

No matter what you decide to do, I recommend taking your kid's birth certificate with you to prove your relationship.
it will not be a prob if you have proper birth certificate . But it is always advisable to pay the amout and endorse your PP with your daughters name mentioned. This will not only support your visa processes but also will help identity proceses in international imigration centers
