Does the attorney -client privilege count when you are married to someone?

I have been married approx 6 years and separated for 2 due to domestic violence. My husband went to prison but refuses to give up the whereabouts of our son who is 5. I know that his lawyer knows where our son is but I guess he does not have to tell me? Does the attorney -client privilege count when you are married to someone?
Unfortunately the attorney-client privilege is almost absolute.

As long as the attorney is not a participant in an ongoing crime or has direct knowledge that a crime is going to be committed which will result in death or seious injury... he is ETHICALLY bound to keep his mouth shut.

Sorry.Does the attorney -client privilege count when you are married to someone?
You need a lawyer for the divorce. Consult your lawyer now about how to compel testimony.

If your husband is in prison, someone who is not the parent has the child. Is this a kidnapping? If so, call the police. If the lawyer conceals information about an ongoing crime, he can face some very serious consequences.
A judge could subpoena him to court and make him tell. Do you have an attorney?
